Hey backers!
Bit of a quick update for you this week, but we have some more tarot previews! Take a look!
Rewards
The tarot cards are still in production, but check out this behind the scenes mock up of the boxes! This was sent to us for approval on the foil and gloss that will be featured on the box design. Before long, this design will be constructed into a nice, sturdy box to hold your deck!

Spellshaping book is in the final phases of design
Reprinted decks are making their way through customs! More details may be sparse until they reach our warehouse, but they’re being processed and we’ll be sure to share what we know in updates!
Remaining physical rewards (Spell slots, storage boxes, reading mats, etc.) are in production
The team is finalizing some assets for packaging, but all the Roll20 cards and tokens have been uploaded! From here, they’re steadily getting approved by Roll20. We’re in the home stretch!

Happy February, all! Wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year, Valentine’s Day, or general all around good vibes! This week’s update doesn’t have a lot of new information, but here’s a reminder of where items are at! We do have an update on Spell Slots below as well.

Roll20–a member of our team is plugging away at getting all the assets uploaded! So far, we’re at 1035 with 882 to go. Whew!
Spellshaping is being finalized for print
But what about the Spell Slots?
We were ecstatic to see that the Spell Slot system arrived late last week but were disheartened when we opened up the pallets to find the colours of the pegs to be completely washed out and not at all what was approved when prototyping.
Below, you can see the discrepancy in colours between the mass-manufactured pegs and the ones provided as prototypes.
Our team has been in contact with the manufacturer and have arranged to have them reprinted and shipped to us at their expense. We are incredibly frustrated with this additional obstacle and apologize to the impacted folks who have supported us and have extended patience. Backers who have Spell Slots included in their pledge will receive a duplicate set–one printed as intended and one of the misprints.
Seeds of Decay is a new campaign setting for 5th Edition by acclaimed fantasy artist and game designer Darryl T. Jones.
Rot and decay are spreading at an alarming rate, threatening the lives of all who live there. Terrible creatures twisted by decay hunt any who call the light their friend.
Seeds of Decay features dozens of new hero options, rules for playing tiny characters, a new foraging and contraption building system, wondrous new magic items and much more!

Hey backers,
Happy new year! We hope everyone enjoyed any celebrations or time with loved ones and that you all got the chance to relax! We have a few updates for our first post of 2022, so without further ado, let’s get to it!
Production Progress
Animated Tarot (Base + Deluxe) - At long last, the cards are in production! Though Lunar New Year will cause a bit of a delay in production as they close operations during that time, once production’s wrapped up the items will be freight shipped to us where we can begin to process them in the warehouse and ship them out to backers! We’ll keep you updated as the tarot items go through production.
Fablemaker’s Tarot Book - Quotes are being finalized and we expect the book to go into production this week! The printer is located in-province which means that once the books complete production, we won’t have to worry about any overseas shipping for them to reach us.
Reprinted Animated Spells Shipment - Though we expected them to ship towards the end of December, unfortunately there wasn’t enough space to get on a boat to head our way. We’re working with our contacts on getting the decks shipped as soon as possible! The bad news is that the area the decks are shipping from is also experiencing impacts from lockdowns so a timeline is more uncertain than we’d like. Our freight contact is keeping us posted with any updates, which we will be sure to pass along to you! We hope to have the decks in transit to us before Lunar New Year begins.
Roll20 - Our team has officially begun the uploading process! We’re working with our Roll20 rep to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. As we work through this process, we’ll have a better idea of an ETA which we’ll provide for you as soon as possible.

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm during the holiday season! We’re doing one final recap update in 2021, so check it out below along with a reminder of our holiday hours and an invitation to a special holiday stream featuring some of the Hit Point Press staff tonight!
Production Progress
Here’s a quick refresher of shipped rewards/items in warehouse:
Animated Tarot (Base + Deluxe) and Fablemaker’s Tarot Book - We know you’ve been waiting incredibly patiently for a while now as the team worked to finalize and prepare the files for print–we’re excited to share that unless something goes terribly wrong (knock on wood!) we anticipate submitting them for production by the end of the week! This also means that we’ll be distributing updated files to backers in the new year as well!
Roll20 Codes - We’re making headway! The team is finalizing what the last steps will look like and then hop to it! We don’t have an ETA just yet but we’ll keep you updated–we’re in the final stretch!
Spellshaping (Art Book) - The design is being finalized for print! We expect it to go into production in January 2022.
Deck Storage Boxes + Fabric Reading Mats - These rewards were submitted to production earlier this year! We’re currently following up with the manufacturers for an updated timeline on when we can expect them in our hands.
Spellslots + Binders - These rewards are in transit! If all goes to plan, we expect them to arrive in the warehouse in early 2022.
Misprinted Animated Spell Decks Update
Though we intended to have both the tarot cards and reprinted cards go through production at the same time, our manufacturers surprised us with the news that the reprinted decks are complete!
They sent us the following images and video (take a look below!) and are shipping us a couple decks to review in person to ensure the quality is up to snuff. These decks will get a bit of a head start and are set to ship out from the manufacturers on their way to us later this month.

Holiday Hours
The holidays are upon us! Please be aware that Hit Point Press is closing between Christmas and New Year. From December 24th until the 31st, both the warehouse and support operations will cease until we return January3rd.
