Production Update + Holiday Hours

Hey backers!
We have a mini update on production progress! We’ll have one more update before the end of the year and we’ve included a note on our holiday hours in this update as well.
Production Progress
- Tarot Book and Booklet: We ran into a few image issues that needed attention in the book and it’s currently being finalized! Though we’d intended to have both the book and booklet wrapped up and in production by now, the booklet needs some additional work as well before it’s good to go.
- Tarot Cards: The cards are complete and exported! They’re ready for production and will go into print at the same time as the misprinted decks. We'll let you know in a future update when they've begun that process!
- Misprinted decks: They’re awaiting their production run and will print with the tarot cards! We'll let you know in a future update when they've begun that process.
- Roll20 Codes: Codes should be distributed within a few weeks! Thank you for your patience!
Holiday Hours
The holidays are upon us! Please be aware that Hit Point Press is closing between Christmas and New Year. From December 27th until the 31st, both the warehouse and support operations will cease until we return January 3rd. Our team will respond to all inquiries as soon as we’re able in the new year, thank you for your patience!

Production Progress + Heart of Dako Stream!

Production Progress
- Animated Decks (including Tarot) - We’re arranging a new order with the manufacturers to reprint the misprinted decks as well as the Tarot deck! Though in the most recent update we’d planned to have the Tarot cards in production last week, they will now be included in the new order and will ship with the reprinted decks.
- Everything else is just about the same! Check out the most recent update.
To celebrate the release of The Heart of Dako PDF (free to download and available now!) we’re streaming a special one-shot tomorrow at 5pm ET!

Production Progress, Delays and Animated Freebies

Hey backers!
Thanks for sharing your feedback in the last update. We have some important updates in this post, so please read through carefully!
Production Progress
- All remaining physical tarot rewards will be in production next week! We are so excited to see all the pieces come together and cannot wait for their arrival at our warehouse.
- Updated Print n’ Play files will be distributed through BackerKit soon
- The finalized Fablemaker’s Tarot Book PDF will also be released this month
- Spell slots are in transit! We’ll let you know once they’ve arrived at the warehouse!
Conditions, Illusions and Townsfolk Decks
The pallets for these decks arrived last week. When we opened the decks up to inspect them, we discovered that they are also impacted by the same manufacturing error as the Cantrips deck.
Because of the damaged edges, we won't be sending them out as pledge rewards (but rest assured, we have plans for them!). Unfortunately, this does mean that rewards including these decks will also experience delays.
That’s a lot of decks and people impacted. What are you going to do about it?
First, we’re working on getting the impacted decks reprinted. We’ve been in contact with the manufacturers regarding this issue and their team has pinpointed the place in the process and the equipment that has caused the error. It stemmed from their corner rounder and has affected a total of 30,000 decks. Production of the replacements will take 30-35 days and we are working with them to provide additional quality assurance before cards are packaged to ensure we don’t encounter this again. From there, the replacements will be shipped to our warehouse.
On our end, we see the frustration and disappointment at this new challenge delaying getting decks into your hands further and we would like to do something about it.
While we can’t sell the affected Cantrips, Illusions, Townsfolk and Conditions decks, aside from the edges, the cards are in fine condition and perfectly usable.
For all remaining backers who's rewards have yet to ship, we’re including a random extra of one of the above decks as a freebie in your rewards, as well as an additional surprise! Rewards will ship in one package when all items included are availble. Thank you for your patience throughout this project. We know how eager you are to get the rewards in your hands!

Rewards Progress + Cantrips Decks

Hey backers!
The update for this week is that there is no progress update! Nothing has seen movement since the last one (we’re hoping to have some good news about certain pallets arriving at our warehouse soon though! 👀).
Cantrips Deck
We do have some bad news, however. Our most recent shipment of Cantrips decks experienced a widespread manufacturing error which will likely result in a delay for folks with the decks included in their rewards. Our team is currently working with the manufacturer on a resolution and hope to have some more concrete details on what this could mean for you all soon.

Just a small progress update this week! Most things are still being prepared for or are still going through production and there hasn't been a whole lot of movement since our last update.
Production Progress
In production: deck storage boxes, reading mats
In design or being prepared for production: outer boxes for tarot deck/deluxe box, spell slots, tarot book and cards, Roll20, Spellshaping, binders (production complete, coordinating shipping from manufacturers!)
In transit: Illusions, Townsfolk, Conditions
Currently shipping: 0-9 Spell decks, Spellcraft, Humblewood Vol. 2, Exclusives (Magician Pin and Animated Spell Pack), tarot pins, Ultrapro sleeves
If you chose pallet shipping, your rewards will ship later in the fulfillment process. If you preordered with us, your items will ship after we’ve fulfilled backer rewards. Not sure if you’re a Kickstarter backer or placed a preorder? Our FAQ explains the difference!
